Located northwest of Zelina, ruins of burg Zelingrad were mentioned for the first time in 1295 and is not exactly known when it was built. As of 1640 this place has been referred to only as a ruin.
As the last 3 km to the ruins, the road is made of macadam with the wood and the side water, the route seems perfect to take an easy walk.
Approach it by car, park at the beginning of the macadam, take a picnic supplies like sandwiches and water (or wine) with you, walk to Zelingrad where you can find the refreshment spot and the relaxing afternoon is guaranteed.
